We are thrilled to announce that our very own Rebecca Batchelder, a dedicated middle school educator, has been selected to participate in the Teacher Innovator Institute at the Smithsonian’s National Air and Space Museum in Washington, D.C.!
This prestigious program brings together top educators from across the country to explore innovative ways to integrate STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math) education into the classroom. Over the course of two summers, Ms. B will engage in hands-on activities, behind-the-scenes museum experiences, and collaborate with Smithsonian experts to bring authentic, aerospace-inspired learning to our students. We are so proud of Ms. B’s commitment to enhancing education at Discovery Charter School and can’t wait to see the incredible impact this experience will have on our students! Join us in congratulating her on this amazing achievement!
