Purpose: The School Board of Discovery Charter School will conduct a special meeting
at 4:00 p.m. on January 6, 2023, for the purpose of considering legal options relating to
potential litigation involving of a former employee. The Board’s discussion regarding
legal options relating to this former employee will be confidential and will take place in a
closed session with legal counsel pursuant to Minnesota Statutes section 13D.05,
subdivision 3(b). Following the closed session discussion, the Board may take official
action regarding its response to the decision.

Closed session pursuant to the attorney-client privilege to discuss potential
litigation involving a former employee, Discovery’s attorney’s analysis of the
